They are confirmed skeptics. If you do not have the proof, then it doesn't exist.
They  will try and debunk every piece of evidence that they capture.

Started in 2007, Louisville Paranormal Investigations is rapidly becoming one of the areas most recognized, professional, and highly respected paranormal groups, for their honesty, and dedication to the paranormal.

LPI is
Dedicated to finding the Truth!
I have had a variety of paranormal experiences, off and on, since I was a kid
which spawned a genuine interest in supernatural occurrences.  I’ve always
enjoyed learning about the paranormal so the Internet became a great teacher.

People always thought that I was crazy when I would talk about some bizarre
happening, but, on the net, I discovered a host of others around the world
who has been through similar things.

I tend to be a tad skeptical so, when strange things happen, I look for the
reasons behind why it happened.  Even though I have watched paranormal shows for years, I’ve only recently begun my hands on training and I learn something new with each case I’m lucky enough to be involved in.

I’m a wife and a mom to the best kid in the world as well as half a dozen
animals.  I love sci-fi movies and shows.  In my spare time, I like to write
original fiction as well as fan fiction.  I enjoy playing games with my son and
even manage to get in a grown-up Texas Hold’em tournament on occasion.
I have a life long passion for photography, but I am still waiting to get a Grade-A ghost shot.

I have a background in nursing and spend most of my time with my wonderful family and friends.

I have always found the field of paranormal study to be fascinating and was curious how the investigations work, but I am a skeptic by nature without the scientific evidence to back it up.

I am looking forward to all the possibilities this hobby will bring!

I have certainly had my share of ‘strange happenings’ at various times throughout my life. Some might be explainable and others certainly paranormal.

I have been working in the Healthcare industry for nearly 20 years in various roles but I love being a nurse.

I have always been connected spiritually and see death somewhat differently than others.

I have a passion for helping people and through LPI, it provides me with a different outlet of doing so for others…past and present.

A part of being a nurse includes assessment and diagnosis. This has been easy to apply during investigations.

When I am not working or seeking out the paranormal, I am a stand Up comic and completely enjoy being with my family.

I am 14 years old and I enjoy hunting ghosts. Its so cool to go to a cemetery at night and take pictures to see what I can get.

I have seen different things in my house and I'm very curious on why the ghosts are here.

I have been saving my money so I can get other equipment so I don't have to borrow it from my mom and dad.

I will be a freshman at Jeff High School this up coming school year and I am interested in being a Chef.

I'm very active in Boy Scouts and enjoy sports.

I was born in Germany. I met my husband in Kentucky while I was on vacation.

We have 2 children and I have a son from my first marriage.

Personally I have not had any paranormal experience, if I did I just did not recognized it as being paranormal.

Hearing about it and seeing it in TV raised my interest if this is just for "show" or is there a truth about it? I had to find out for myself.

Finding LPI and the classes they offered was just what I needed.

Going on my first investigation and meeting other investigators sharing
the same interest was quite an experience.

I am still a skeptic but hope to find the truth soon.

Junior Investigators
Our Junior investigators are family members of our investigators. They are honorary members.
I was born and raised in Kentucky.

I got into Ghost Hunting because I have had many experiences with spirits and very much believe they do exist.

I would just enjoy helping them
I am 48 years old. Born and raised in Carrollton Ky.

I work as a Truck Mechanic in the town I am from.

I got interested in Ghost Hunting when my girlfriend told me about her personal experiences.

I'm anxious to have one of my own.

Born and raised a KY gal. I am married, and have 1 child.

I find the field of paranormal investigating challenging yet fascinating.

Personal experiences from childhood into my adult life have confirmed my belief of life existing after death here on earth.

Still the question remains for many. My goal as an investigator, to capture real time, convincing physical evidence.
Johnny Jasso

Born and raised in California.

I’ve always taken life for face value “what you see is what you get”, meaning that the creak in the house is the foundation settling, the book falling off the shelf is because it was placed on the edge and a hanging object moving is just catching a cross breeze.

I’ve never looked for paranormal activity therefore I can’t tell you that I’ve experienced any activity. I’m hoping that by conducting investigations as part of LPI there will be a moment where a confirmed existence behind the façade of our existence will be revealed.

If anything I enjoy the time spent bonding with my wife Jenn on these investigations, and I also enjoy the diversity of experiences brought by everybody in the group.

I'm 11 and going into middle school. I love ghost investigating with my parents.
I've done lots of ghost investigations, and I've gotten lucky time and time again.
I am pretty good at football and wrestling. I'm pretty interested in being a chef.
I even cook for my parents. I watch a bit of ghost shows now. Not much though.
I'll be going to Parkview Middle School in Jeffersonville, IN. Ghost investigations
are really interesting to me.

I’ve lived in Louisville all my life and have been interested in the paranormal since an early age.
I always wanted to know what went bump in the night.
I became an investigator after the death of my mother. Seeking answers to the ultimate question, “Is it real?”
Here I am, almost a decade later and I’m still seeking those same answers.

My other interests are my grandchildren and animals of all kinds. I’m a certified dog obedience instructor and my goal is to train shelter pets whereby increasing their chances of adoption.

I am currently in college, majoring in education to become a teacher.  I tend to be outgoing, fun, and musical. I have been known to break out in song for no reason.

I love to learn and discover new things.

I remember having a few experiences as a child. But it wasn't until I became a teenager that I really became interested.

After searching for a group, I met L.P.I. and decided to take the classes. I had so much fun and learned so much.

I come from a family of skeptics, but I look at things with an open mind.

I am proud to be a member of L.P.I. . I look forward to get out there and look for answers to the unknown, and to help those in need.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland

I Joined LPI due to past experiences I have had with the paranormal.

I have seen and heard quite a bit over the years, and thought what better way to learn more about this type of thing then taking a course for paranormal investigations.

I Have learned many things in class and hope to use that training in hopes of fully understanding these paranormal activities and to help others that may be having the same questions we all have had.
Who or what is causing these activities

I was born, lived and died in Louisville Ky.  I never married and have no children.
I always wondered what it was that went bump in the night now I know...me..haha.
As a member  of LPI I  want to help the living find their way. To help them understand those like me who have "crossed over".  To learn more about what it is like to be alive in these times.
I remember when I first heard of LPI.  I was strolling around my favorite haunt, and kept having things be moved on me.  I would set down a cup of java, and next thing I knew it is in the trash.  Or I kept hearing people talking and there was no one there. Believe me scared me to life...( haha).  So I decided to switch the tables on them and try to capture something from or of them. Well that back fired, they got this photo of me in my usual comfy spot and asked me to join the group, so I did. I figure if you can't beat em then join them.

I have had two experiences of my own; one involving a full apparition of a woman and another of my dog I had to put down six months earlier. I've always had an interest in the paranormal.  I've read many books on the subject and enjoy paranormal programs.
My family and I moved to Jeffersonville 17 years ago from Connersville, IN.  I have a husband of 37 years and a 35 year old son.  While living in Jeffersonville, I was involved in starting a no-kill animal shelter.  This was very rewarding to me because I've always had a love for animals.  We have since moved to Fern Creek in Louisville.  I've had the opportunity to visit Waverly Hills Sanatorium twice, took a Bardstown paranormal tour and saw Sylvia Brown in Indianapolis a few years ago.  This was a neat experience for me.
I am happy to be a member of L.P.I. and feel there are many things that one cannot explain.

I am 33 yrs old.
Originally from Chicago,IL moved to Louisville, KY in 1989. I Have always had experiences from childhood with the paranormal.
My interests were more
solidified when I was visited by my grandfather before anyone was notified of his passing.
I'm 32 years old, I've been married to Scott for 4 years and have a fabulous son. I have lived in Louisville and the surrounding area all of my life.
I'm a home-maker and enjoy spending time with my family, making crafts, painting, and ghost hunting in my free time .
I have been interested in the paranormal since I was a teenager. After my Great Grandmother passed away, I started noticing signs that she was still with us. Since then I've never really felt that I was alone.
My goals as a paranormal investigator are to help those that I can, to debunk the evidence that isn't paranormal, and to find physical proof that there is life after death.

I am a mom to two young children, originally from Louisville and who has always been fascinated with the paranormal since I was a young child myself.
I have seen and experienced enough over the years to know that it's not ever really over...even after the fat lady sings.
Nothing is ever black and white and there are many layers to still be pulled back about the unknown.
I am fully up for the challenge and can't wait to see what the future has to bring and uncovers!
