They are confirmed skeptics. If you do not have the proof, then it doesn't exist.
They  will try and debunk every piece of evidence that they capture.

Started in 2007, Louisville Paranormal Investigations is rapidly becoming one of the areas most recognized, professional, and highly respected paranormal groups, for their honesty, and dedication to the paranormal.

LPI is
Dedicated to finding the Truth!
I have had a variety of paranormal experiences, off and on, since I was a kid
which spawned a genuine interest in supernatural occurrences.  I’ve always
enjoyed learning about the paranormal so the internet became a great teacher.

People always thought that I was crazy when I would talk about some bizarre
happening, but, on the net, I discovered a host of others around the world
who has been through similar things.

I tend to be a tad skeptical so, when strange things happen, I look for the
reasons behind why it happened.  Even though I have watched paranormal shows for years, I’ve only recently begun my hands on training and I learn something new with each case I’m lucky enough to be involved in.

I’m a wife and a mom to the best kid in the world as well as half a dozen
animals.  I love sci-fi movies and shows.  In my spare time, I like to write
original fiction as well as fan fiction.  I enjoy playing games with my son and
even manage to get in a grown-up Texas Hold’em tournament on occasion.
I have a life long passion for photography, but I am still waiting to get a Grade-A ghost shot.

I have a background in nursing and spend most of my time with my wonderful family and friends.

I have always found the field of paranormal study to be fascinating and was curious how the investigations work, but I am a skeptic by nature without the scientific evidence to back it up.

I am looking forward to all the possibilities this hobby will bring!

I have certainly had my share of ‘strange happenings’ at various times throughout my life. Some might be explainable and others certainly paranormal.

I have been working in the Healthcare industry for nearly 20 years in various roles but I love being a nurse.

I have always been connected spiritually and see death somewhat differently than others.

I have a passion for helping people and through LPI, it provides me with a different outlet of doing so for others…past and present.

A part of being a nurse includes assessment and diagnosis. This has been easy to apply during investigations.

When I am not working or seeking out the paranormal, I am a stand Up comic and completely enjoy being with my family.

I’m a mother, future wife of fellow ghost hunter Mike, and small business owner in the Louisville area.

I was born into the Scooby-Doo generation of having a curiosity in all subjects paranormal.

Since a child, I have always ‘hunted’ for ghosts and the unexplainable.

My primary goals are to document, and hopefully someday scientifically prove the existence of ghosts and spirits.

Even though I am only 16 years old, I like to think that I am a very open minded person.  I find that I'm living my life in a serious manner when it comes to what I do.

The whole paranormal thing kicked off at a young age when I would watch horror or mystery movies at my grandparents.  I am a very curious person who wants to know everything.

Although paranormal investigating is my main hobby, I have an interest in becoming a graphic designer or an archeologist.  Though my career path has yet to be decided, I will always remain devoted to what I now do...Ghost Hunting.
Mike Vincent

I’ve lived in Louisville all my life and have a wonderful family of six.

Growing up I was told that ghosts are not real. I’m very interested in finding out the truth through paranormal investigations and scientific evidence.

I’m a skeptic seeking the truth!

I am 14 years old and I enjoy hunting ghosts. Its so cool to go to a cemetery at night and take pictures to see what I can get.

I have seen different things in my house and I'm very curious on why the ghosts are here.

I have been saving my money so I can get other equipment so I don't have to borrow it from my mom and dad.

I will be a freshman at Jeff High School this up coming school year and I am interested in being a Chef.

I'm very active in Boy Scouts and enjoy sports.
I have lived in Jeffersonville Indiana for the past 40 years. I am a mom of 3 wonderful children Rebecca, Jessica & Stephen and a Grandma to a sweet grandson named Gavin.
I am and Assistant Scout Master for my son's Boy Scout Troop 7 in Sellersburg Indiana
I have been married for 22 years to the best man in the world, Larry who is also a ghost hunter.
All 3 of my kids are ghost hunters, they have been hunting ghost for the past 8 years or so.

We live in a haunted house and the kids enjoy putting the cameras out and voice recorders to see what they can catch.
I have been hunting ghost for the past 12 years. I have had a few experience myself when I was a child and have always wanted to find an explanation on why the spirits would attach to me. There are 2 spirits in my house now and they are of my Grandfather and Grandmother. My kids say that they are here to look over them. And I believe that.
Our house is so popular in October since everyone in our neighborhood and all 3 of our kids friends, knows that our house is haunted, We usually have somewhere between 100-125 kids at the "Haunted Halloween Party at The Sullivan's House"

I have been married for 22 years to my wonderful wife Cheryl. We have 3 beautiful children and 1 grandchild.

I am an Assistant Scout Master with troop 7.
I was a firefighter for 11 years. For the last 20 years I have worked in a factory, and doing remodeling.

I had some experience when I was a child, but didn't become interested in investigating until about 12 years ago when my wife and I were having experiences in our own home.
Since I was a child, I have had an extreme thirst for knowledge and a drive to learn exactly what "the truth" is.

As I have grown and matured, I have experienced my fair share of paranormal activity.

I was able to determine logical scientific explanations for about 95% of these occurrences.  The 5% I cannot explain is what drives me.

I have entered into the field of paranormal investigations to feed this drive and to someday find some answers.

I was born in Germany. I met my husband in Kentucky while I was on vacation.

We have 2 children and I have a son from my first marriage.

Personally I have not had any paranormal experience, if I did I just did not recognized it as being paranormal.

Hearing about it and seeing it in TV raised my interest if this is just for "show" or is there a truth about it? I had to find out for myself.

Finding LPI and the classes they offered was just what I needed.

Going on my first investigation and meeting other investigators sharing
the same interest was quite an experience.

I am still a skeptic but hope to find the truth soon.

Junior Investigators
Our Junior investigators are family members of our investigators. They are honorary members.
I was born and raised in Kentucky.

I got into Ghost Hunting because I have had many experiences with spirits and very much believe they do exist.

I would just enjoy helping them
I am 48 years old. Born and raised in Carrollton Ky.

I work as a Truck Mechanic in the town I am from.

I got interested in Ghost Hunting when my girlfriend told me about her personal experiences.

I'm anxious to have one of my own.
I was born and raised In Louisville,ky and also am a mother of 2 lovings kids 12 & 8. I have always had a interest In the paranormal field since I was a young child. I have heard lots of unexplainable noises In the homes that I have lived, as things banging on doors, running back and forth on the floors upstairs when there was no one to be seen, also hearing voices of what I believe to be a disembodied spirit. I had began researching paranormal about 10 yrs ago after receiving a recording believed to be my deceased father . I enjoy the work I do by trying to help comfort people In to why the spirits of our loved ones still remain here and If they have a message they want to give. The paranormal will always be a mysterious and to that I will keep researching still to this day to learn every possible thing there is to know about the paranormal and to maybe oneday be able to prove It scientifically that they exist In this Life.

I was born and raised In Louisville, KY. I have always been interested in the paranormal since I was a young child, growing up I have always heard and spoken to a lot of people that seemed to be having trouble with what I believed to be paranormal activity that they couldn’t explain. So I then decided I wanted to learn the truth about the paranormal existence, so I set on a journey to learn as much as there is to know about the paranormal. I realized during my journey I wanted to be able to help people understand what the paranormal is and to find what it is that the unknown wants so desperately from us as well.
Tony Harp
Investigator
My background; I am Native American Indian. I have a degree in Ship to shore radio design. I seek to understand the unknown.

From a early age I have felt things and seen things at the time could not be explained.

My first experience that I remember was from the age of 8 we where living in Belgium at the time. A bunch of us where playing hide and seek. I was being really quite and standing still as I stood there I noticed someone walking right in front of me. He was not dress like us, he wore military clothing. I remember he looked out of place, I happened to look away from his direction and when I looked back he was gone. But that was just the start of a long passion that I have for searching out the unknown.

I have worked with some amazing teams who I have learned a lot from.

That brings me to LPI I meet them while on a investigation in Louisville with another team. I keep in touch with LPI. Boy I am glad I did. Now I am apart of their team.

So my adventure to finding out the truth to one of life's many things continues.

Born and raised a KY gal. I am married, and have 1 child.

I find the field of paranormal investigating challenging yet fascinating.

Personal experiences from childhood into my adult life have confirmed my belief of life existing after death here on earth.

Still the question remains for many. My goal as an investigator, to capture real time, convincing physical evidence.
John Jasso
Investigator
Born and raised in California.

I’ve always taken life for face value “what you see is what you get”, meaning that the creak in the house is the foundation settling, the book falling off the shelf is because it was placed on the edge and a hanging object moving is just catching a cross breeze.

I’ve never looked for paranormal activity therefore I can’t tell you that I’ve experienced any activity. I’m hoping that by conducting investigations as part of LPI there will be a moment where a confirmed existence behind the façade of our existence will be revealed.

If anything I enjoy the time spent bonding with my wife Jenn on these investigations, and I also enjoy the diversity of experiences brought by everybody in the group.

I have had two experiences of my own; one involving a full apparition of a woman and another of my dog I had to put down six months earlier. I've always had an interest in the paranormal.  I've read many books on the subject and enjoy paranormal programs.

My family and I moved to Jeffersonville 17 years ago from Connersville, IN.  I have a husband of 37 years and a 35 year old son.  While living in Jeffersonville, I was involved in starting a no-kill animal shelter.  This was very rewarding to me because I've always had a love for animals.  We have since moved to Fern Creek in Louisville.  I've had the opportunity to visit Waverly Hills Sanatorium twice, took a Bardstown paranormal tour and saw Sylvia Brown in Indianapolis a few years ago.  This was a neat experience for me.

I am happy to be a member of L.P.I. and feel there are many things that one cannot explain.
I'm 11 and going into middle school. I love ghost investigating with my parents.
I've done lots of ghost investigations, and I've gotten lucky time and time again.
I am pretty good at football and wrestling. I'm pretty interested in being a chef.
I even cook for my parents. I watch a bit of ghost shows now. Not much though.
I'll be going to Parkview Middle School in Jeffersonville, IN. Ghost investigations
are really interesting to me.

I’ve lived in Louisville all my life and have been interested in the paranormal since an early age.
I always wanted to know what went bump in the night.
I became an investigator after the death of my mother. Seeking answers to the ultimate question, “Is it real?”
Here I am, almost a decade later and I’m still seeking those same answers.

My other interests are my grandchildren and animals of all kinds. I’m a certified dog obedience instructor and my goal is to train shelter pets whereby increasing their chances of adoption.

I have always had an interest in the supernatural. I have had a couple of my own personal experiences and I would like to learn more. I want to work with LPI because
    A) It gives me an opportunity to learn about different supernatural beings.
    B) I get to meet new people with the same interest and not be thought of as weird or crazy, or be told that I'm just seeing or hearing things.
    C) I would like to help prove that there are things out there that go "Bump in the night" whether it be captured on evp, video or audio.

Outside of working with LPI, I enjoy taking photo's to put in scrapbooks. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, movies, camping, swimming or just for a walk.

Overall I hope to learn as much as I can and help out where I can so that other people can be educated on paranormal investigations/supernatural beings.
